Dumbbell or Resistance Band workouts

Ok so 3 weeks into “lockdown” and you’ve finally managed to get your hands on a set of dumbbells or resistance bands. Equally, you may have had them a while but have decided it’s time to dust them off and put them to use!
Here are a couple of workouts using dumbbells (DB) and/or resistance bands that you can try at home.

Aim for 2-3 sets of 12-15 reps or 8-10 reps depending on your ability and weights
1. Lying floor (chest) press with dumbbells or resistance bands
2. Renegade rows with DB
3.Squats with DB or band around knees
4. Upright row with resistance band
5. Glute bridge with band just above knees
6. Bicep curl (DB)
7. Tricep extension (DB)
8. Side lying clam with band
9. Pullover crunch with DB
Dumbbell only workout
1. Lying floor press
2. Renegade rows
3. Reverse lunges
4. Thrusters
5. Frog pumps
6. Plank pass through
